We are accepting applications for the following positions:

Apartment Supervisor: Oversee and manage an independent living skills program for 6 adults with disabilities and appropriate staff.  The selected candidate will ensure the health and safety of each individual by following guidelines as outlined by the Division of Services for People with Disabilities.  Weekly activities must be met including; recreation, medical services, shopping, staff scheduling and staff meetings.  Other responsibilities include working with family members, home health care, state workers, the recreation coordinator, and the Behavior Specialist.  Some on call duties apply.

Previous experience a plus. 

Requires bachelors Degree or combination of school and experience.

 

Day Services Support Staff (FT/PT): Position allows you to work directly with adults with developmental disabilities, enriching their lives by actively providing opportunities for learning and growth. Opportunities include employment training and production work, life skills development, assisting with community Access, building relationships, and much more Individuals will work directly with clients in their day program to meet the individual's goals and needs. Part and full-time day positions between the hours of 6:30 am and 5:30 pm.

 

Development Specialist: The Development Coordinator serves as a member of the Executive Team and is responsible for helping the Center meet its funding goals. The selected candidate will be responsible for grant writing and reporting, cultivating and maintaining donor relationships, and will be heavily involved in public relations for the Center. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the strategic development plan for an established non-profit organization!
Requires a B.A. in a related field, prefer 2-5 years of experience.

 

Driver: Driver needed to transport adults with developmental disabilities over specified routes. Must be sensitive to the needs of people with disabilities. Must be able to operate a 15-passenger van and/or lift equipped coach and comply with local traffic regulations. Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Utah Driver's license, and be a safe driver who is familiar with Wasatch Front. This is a split shift. You must be available to pick clients up in the morning and take them home in the afternoon.

 

Janitor: Immediate openings for an evening custodial crew in a government office building in Downtown Salt Lake City (located close to the Trax line). Duties include mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and light restroom cleaning. Hours are Monday through Friday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.

 

Job Coach: Job coach in the SLC area to teach and train individuals with developmental disabilities preparing for work in the community and those who are currently engaged in community work. Must be computer knowledgeable, a high school graduate, be at least 21 and have a driver’s license in order to operate company vehicle under company insurance policy.

 

Residential Trainer: We are hiring caring individuals to aid residents in their homes. Duties include meal planning and preparation, assisting with personal care, shopping, light housekeeping, and community activities. Flexible hours available from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with graveyard and weekend shifts also available.


All positions require the following:

  • Applicants pass a criminal background check to work with vulnerable adults
