INVITATION TO BID

The Work Activity Center is soliciting bids for a construction/rehab project.  Separate sealed bids will be received by: Work Activity Center (WAC) until 1:00pm on 5-3-17 to be delivered to 1275 W 2320 S, WVC, UT 84119, for construction/improvements at 220 E Leslie Ave. SLC, 84115 including:  Renovation of kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living areas.

Bid documents available for review at: above location at mandatory Pre-Bid Mtg. & walk through to be held on 4-24-17, 1:00pm, Leslie Ave location.

WAC reserves the right to reject any & all bids or waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the owner.

NOTICE TO ALL PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS

This will be a FEDERALLY FINANCED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT. All rules & regulations governing such projects will be applicable. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible & responsive bidder, whose bid meets the requirements & criteria set forth in the request. Requirements for prevailing wage rates & certified payrolls apply.

Also, work to be completed under this project is subject to the requirements of Sec. 3 of the Housing & Urban Development Act of 1968, the purpose of which is to ensure employment and other economic opportunities generated by HUD-assisted projects shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low & very low income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing.
