Development (Fundraising) Manager

The Work Activity Center provides opportunities for employment, independent living, and social interaction to adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead our development strategies and fundraising efforts to secure the organization's present needs and future growth. Make a difference in the lives of others by utilizing your writing, marketing, and public relations skills by joining the Work Activity Center.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Executive Director to establish an overall development plan, identify revenue sources, develop and execute fund raising activities, write and report on grants, cultivate and maintain donor relationships, and assist with public relations for the Center. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the strategic development plan for Work Activity Center's future. The chosen candidate will have demonstrated writing abilities, good decision-making skills, the ability to work independently, and a solid work history.

- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field
- Proven ability to secure funding through donations and/or grants
- Experience using the Microsoft Suite and donor tracking software to track and report on fundraising progress
- At least three years experience in the development field
- Valid Utah Driver License
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen and a criminal background check

STATUS: Full-time
SCHEDULE: 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday - Friday

This is a full-time position that includes paid holidays, paid time off, medical, dental, and life insurance, and a retirement plan.
