Volunteering with Ability Inclusion Services is a wonderful way to give back to the community while getting to know our program participants. We offer a variety of ongoing volunteer opportunities that involve working directly with those we serve. Join us in making a difference today!

Day Program Needs:

Volunteers that would be interesting in coming to our Activity Center for an hour (or more) anytime Mon-Fri 9am -- 2pm to teach a class, skill or hobby that they would like to share such as...cooking classes, art, life skills, dance, exercise etc.

Residential Needs:

Any day of the week 3pm -- 8pm.  Volunteers would be assisting individuals in the home and/or out in the community.

Bowling every other Thursday 3pm -- 8pm.  Volunteers would assist individuals in a one-on-one or group setting with bowling, eating and socializing.

Weekends -- Anytime.  Volunteers would be able to pick and date and time and we would plan a community activity for our individuals such as Library, movies, an event happening that weekend etc.

Employment Needs:

Job Club – Looking for volunteers that would be able to come in for an hour Mon -- Fri 10am -- 2pm and teach our job seekers about different job skills in the work force.  Teaching workplace etiquette, resume writing, mock interviews, what to expect as a new hire/new employee orientation, safety in the workplace, attendance and disciplinary, confidentiality etc.

Volunteers must comply with state regulations, which requires volunteers to pass a background screening.  If a background check is required, the volunteer must present an original, unexpired State ID or Driver License, and a Social Security card.
